She married Charles Seigel Conger 21 Dec 1884 and they had six sons; Finis Truman, Roy N, Ira T, Benoni "Ben", Lowell E, and John L. A homemaker, life was not easy on her. She suffered a paralyzing stroke in the early 1900s necessitating hiring her niece Lenora to help with housework. Later on, two of her sons died prematurely; Roy met his end in a train accident while walking the track and Ben who succumbed to an infectious disease.
At the time of her death she was survived by her husband Seigel, four sons and four daughter-in-laws and at least one grandson, Robert Lee.
