Mrs. Allene Johnson Norman, age 71, of Carrollton, Georgia passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2017. She was born November 5, 1945 in Carrollton, Georgia, the daughter of the late Billy Johnson and the late Edna Lewis Johnson. She worked over thirty years in child care and was a member of Cross Plains Christian Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers: Jerry Johnson and William Johnson. Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Michael Norman; children: Karen Norman McCullough and husband, David, of Douglasville, Georgia, George Ann Norman Graham of Summerville, Georgia, and Jason Norman and wife, Collette, of Whitesburg, Georgia; brothers: Charles Johnson and Pete Johnson, both of Carrollton, Georgia; grandchildren: Kevin McCullough, Mattie Johnson, Kyle McCullough, Megan Graham, Jacob McCullough, Johnny Graham, and Brittany Norman; and eight great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, April 2, 2017 at 2:00 PM from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Mr. Tommy Logan officiating. Those serving as pallbearers will be Kevin McCullough, Kyle McCullough, Jacob McCullough, Johnny Graham, Brian Horton, Austin Johnson, and Brenda Logan as honorary pallbearer. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Church Cemetery in Carrollton.
