A graveside service for Ralph Everett Vail will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in Washougal Cemetery. He died of causes related to age Sunday in a Vancouver nursing home. He was 91.
Mr. Vail was born in Portland on May 13, 1898, and had lived in Clark County most of his life. He was a retired logger.
Surviving Mr. Vail are his wife, Mabel of Vancouver; sons, Burleigh of Vancouver, David of Washougal and Ralph of Santa Fe, N.M.; daughters, Dorothy Osterman of Washougal, Kathleen Fox, Linda Brummett and Barbara, all of Bend, Ore., and Leasta Skuzeski of Hermiston, Ore.; brothers, Jacob ''Locke'' of Vancouver and Homer of Alberta; sisters, Edith Krives of Vancouver and Myrtle Pickens of Bothell; 24 grandchildren; and 35 great-grandchildren.
