Mom was born in Fairview, Idaho, March 19, 1920 to Christopher Bodily and Blanch Matkin . She was raised in Lewiston, Utah and attended Lewiston schools graduating from North Cache. She moved to Ogden where she worked for the American Linen Supply Company for many years before going to work as a school lunch lady for the Ogden school district. She was a member of the Railroad Old Timers, the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers and The Red Hat Society. She was a joy and will be greatly missed….

She married the love of her life Cleo Cherry after a couple of miscues which ended in divorce. They lived in Ogden, Utah and then moved to Yuma in 2006. He passed away in December of 2013 and there was never a day that she didn’t think of him.

She is leaving behind two daughters, Sonja Mcintosh of Yuma, Arizona, whom she lived with for the last three years and Christine {David} Casteel of Roy, Utah. She is also leaving behind three grandchildren, eight great- grandchildren, 31 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is also leaving behind a very special sister-in-law, Norma Bodily.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Arlie; and brothers: Arlo, Bardo, Suel, Vertis and a baby bother, Edwin. She was also preceded by many sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.

There will be a graveside service on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Ben Lomond Cemetery , 526 E. 2850 N., North Ogden.
