John Bee is the father of John Bee Jr., (1800-1830), who fled England with his family in 1832, for unlimited opportunity in America. His descendants are still living today, in the counties around Patoka, Pike, Indiana.... All the way to California.

John Bee, was a carpenter. He spent all of his life in Gloucestershire, England. He was born in Sevenhampton, the ancestral home, and moved to Northleach prior to 1790.

He and his wife, Sarah Marchant / Merchant, had at least 8 children. 4 known children lived to adulthood. Only 1, John Jr., left England and died 7 years later in Patoka, Pike, Indiana.
