Preceded in death by husband, John, who died October 2, 1963; brother Robert; and sister, Theresa Zallar.
Survived by these children: Betty, wife of Paul Gelles; and Margaret, wife of John Ryba, both of Johnstown; John R. Jr., married to former Margaret Smith, Euclid, Ohio; Donna Cooper, wife of Harold E. Whitla, with whom Goldie had been recuperating, Chester, W.Va.; Mary K., wife of Lee Findley, Seward R.D.; Connie, widow of Howard Charles, Duncannon, Pa.; and Anthony, married to former Carol Wilson, Franklin Borough. Also survived by 18 grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and special nephew, Bill Pavina, married to former Lois Munko, Bon Air. Sister of Josephine, widow of John Schrader; and Margaret, wife of Joseph "Fuzzy" Schrader, both of South Fork; Edward J., married to former Edna "Sis" Edwards, Lewes, Del.; and brother-in-law, Anthony Zallar, Conemaugh Township, Cambria County.
Member of ladies auxiliaries to Franklin Volunteer Fire Company and Sgt. Michael Strank VFW Post and SNPJ Lodge 254, Bon Air. Had been judge of elections for 26 years in Franklin Borough. Retired cook for Franklin School Cafeteria.
Member of St. Barnabas Catholic Church, Bon Air, where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, the Rev. Daniel J. O'Neill. Interment, Grandview Cemetery. Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Henderson-Makuchan-Ketterer Funeral Home, Conemaugh, where wake service will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday.
