Count Bela Hadik of Chester, N. H., where he founded the Futaki Kennels and bred Vizsla Hungarian pointers, Count Hadik, a Knight of the Order of the Golden Fleece of the House of Habsburg, ran dogs in national and regional field trials, and bred and trained such champions as Futaki Darocz. He was born Budapest and graduated from the Agricultural University of Magyarovar. He was a member of the Upper House in prewar Hungary and during World War II served as a lieutenant of Hungarian cavalry. In 1945 he left Hungary and he came to the United States in 1946.
