Ruby Hansen Christensen

Elwood, Box Elder County - Mrs. Ruby Hansen Christensen, 36 died Monday at 2:30 p.m. in a Logan hospital after a two-weeks illness.

Mrs. Christensen was born Feb 28, 1912 in warren, Weber County, a daughter of Lewis and Sarah Judkins Hansen. She was reared in warren and was graduated from Weber county high school. She was married to Floyd S. Christensen Sept. 23, 1935, in Salt Lake Temple, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints. They lived in Elwood since their marriage.

She was an active member of the church in Warren and in Elwood. She served as president of Elwood Primary and was twice counselor in the Relief Society. She was a Relief Society counselor at the time of death. She was an adviser in the girls program, a Sunday School teacher and member of the genealogical committee.

Surviving are her husband, and two children; Liane and Von H. Christensen; her father and a step-mother, Warren; and the following brothers and sisters: Reuben Alma, Melvin J Hansen and Mrs. Luella H. Williams; Ogden; Walter, Orvil J. and Edward J. Hansen, Warren; Mrs. Ida H. Johnson, Garland; Lehi J. Hansen, Taylor, Weber County.

Funeral services will be announced by Shaw and Rogers funeral home, Tremonton.
