Louis Alma Hansen
WARREN, Weber County - Louis Alma Hansen, 75, long-time resident and prominent community leader of Warren, died Monday at 10 P.M. at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Luella Williams, 3661 Klesel Ave, Ogden, Following a short illness.
Mrs. Hansen was born Feb 29, 1876, in Plain City, a son of Hans C. and Anne Catherine Nelsen Hansen. On Nov. 23, 1898, he married Martha Ann Wayment in the Salt Lake Temple, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She died Oct 19, 1908. on May 10, 1909, he married Sarah E. Judkins in the Salt Lake Temple. She died Sept. 26, 1943. He married Minnie Bingham Larsen, March 14, 1946, in the Salt Lake Temple. She died April 30, 1950. Mr. Hansen was a high priest in the Warren LDS Ward: was active as a ward teacher and formerly was an assistant in the Sunday School and superintendent of the Young men's Mutual Improvement Assn.
Surviving are seven sons and two daughters: Reuben L., Alma W., and Edward J. Hansen and Mrs. Oliver G. (Luella) Williams, Ogden: Walter W. and Orvel J. Hansen, Warren: Levi J. Hansen, Taylor; Melvin J. Hansen Wilson; Mrs. E. Lewis (Ida) Johnson, Garland; 41 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; two brothers and a sister: George Parley Hansen, Idaho Falls, Ida; Joseph F. Hansen, Warren, and Mrs. Joan Bingham, Brigham City. Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday at 2 P.M. In the Warren Ward Chapel by J. Maurice Skeen, Bishop.
