LOGAN - Eugene "Jerry" Fitzgerald Stewart, Jr., 71, died Wednesday, Dec. 16, 1992 at the Sunshine Terrace.

He was born Oct. 14, 1921 in Logan, a son of Eugene Fitzgerald and Vilate Sandberg Stewart. He married Mildred P. Barrett on May 19, 1950. They were later divorced. He married Lois J. Bellamy on July 20, 1957. They were divorced in 1980.

He received his education in the Logan City schools and at Utah State University. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was employed at Hill Air Force Base before and after his military service.

He is survived by two daughters and two sons, Paula M. Howard, California; Shelly L. Rindfleish, Texas; Randy A. Stewart, Washington; Brent B. Stewart, Ogden; five grandchildren; three brothers and a sisters, Denzil Stewart, California; Roy Stewart, California; Reed Stewart, Logan; and Kathleen Barker, Logan.

Graveside services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in the Logan City Cemetery with military rites by the American Legion Post 7, M.L. Whitworth conducting.
