Sandy was the son of Merida Eugene and Mary Elizabeth Walters Fisher. He married Bonnie Wade Fisher on 8 July 1933 in Dallas, TX. They were the parents of Helen Marie Fisher Cook and Anna Louise Fisher Goff. Helen is buried in Chambers Cemetery in Anderson Co, TX. He is buried beside his wife, Bonnie.

Rites Thursday For Sandy Fisher
Funeral services for Sandy Fisher, of 1018 S. Sycamore Street, will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. in the Hassell and Foster Chapel. Rev. Jerald McBride, pastor of Southside Baptist Church will officiate and burial will follow in Holly Springs Cemetery near Montalba.
Mr. Fisher died in a local hospital Wednesday at 12:25 p.m. following a long illness.
Survivors: wife, Mrs. Bonnie Fisher of Palestine; two daughters, Mrs. Helen Cook of Palestine, and Mrs. W.M. Goff of Kingsville; three brothers, Lewis E. Fisher and W. L. Fisher, both of Dallas, and James B. Fisher of Covington, Louisiana; a sister, Mrs Ida Williams of Palestine, 3 grandchildren.
Remains will be at Hassell & Foster until after services.
