"Mrs. Mary S. Diem, sixty-five, wife of Oscar Diem, Bareville R1,
died at 2:45 a.m. yesterday at Lancaster General Hospital, after
an illness of four weeks.
She was a daughter of the late Aaron R. and Annie Sauder Snader and was born in East Earl Twp. She was a member of Weaverland Mennonite Church.
Besides her husband, she is survived by five sons: Clarence,
Myerstown R3; Melvin, Myerstown R2; Arthur, Ephrata R2; Aaron and Lloyd, both at home.
There also survive 15 grandchildren; one brother, Daniel Snader, Manheim R2; a sister, Anna, wife of the Rev. Mahlon Witmer, New
Holland; and six step-brothers and sisters: Miss Amanda Snader,
Denver; Mabel, wife of Walter W. Weaver, Martindale; Aaron Z., East Earl R1; Moses Z., New Holland R2; Miss Sarah Snader, Lancaster R1; and Jacob Z., Denver R2.
