Patricia Ann Agnew Wimbush, 74, of Bassett, passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at her home. She was born in Henry County on September 2, 1943 to the late James Thomas Agnew, Sr. and the late Mary Hairston Agnew. Patricia was also preceded in death by two brothers, James T. “J.T.” Agnew, Jr. and Franklin R. Agnew. Patricia taught in the Henry County Public School System for 36 years.
Patricia is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Samuel Matthew Wimbush; two daughters, Sabrinia Wimbush McPherson and husband, John and Lori P. Wimbush; sister, Gwendolyn Moore and huband Charlie “Reggie”; brother, Bobby Agnew and wife , Norma; two sisters-in-law, Virginia Agnew and Gracie Agnew and several nieces, nephews and other loving family members.
