He was born April 27, 1910, in Victoria to Alois A. and Clementine (Billinger) Sander.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a 60-year resident of Sacramento and member of the Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus.
Survivors include a son, Kenneth, Palmdale, Calif.; a daughter, Linda Myers, Anchorage, Alaska; a sister, Katie Herman, Hays; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marcelle Sander. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Rose Catholic Church, Sacramento; burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday at Andrews & Greilich Mortuary, Sacramento.
Memorials are suggested to the Easter Seal Society, 3205 Hurley Way, Sacramento, CA 95825, or the organization of the donor's choice.
