Thomas W. Reedy, 60, of Route 1, Maribel, died Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 5, at V.A. Medical Center, Wood, Wisconsin.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Saur Funeral Home, Kellnersville, and 10:30 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church, Cooperstown. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Donald Feller and burial will follow in the church cemetery. Military graveside services will be conducted by VFW Post 6705 of Denmark.

Reedy was born Feb. 2, 1924, in the Town of Cooperstown, son of the late Peter J. and Alvina Petska Reedy. He attended St. James Parochial School in Cooperstown and Denmark High School. Mr. Reedy served in the United States Navy in World War II from August 1, 1944, to June 6, 1946. He married the former Florence Wanish on May 2, 1953, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Kellnersville. The couple farmed in the Town of Cooperstown. Mr. Reedy was employed at Manitowoc Engineering Company for many years. He was a member of Holy Name Society of St. James Church and a member of the Denmark VFW Community Post 6705.

Survivors include his wife, Florence; a son and daughter-in-law, Allen and Barbara Reedy of Maribel; two daughters and a son-in-law, Lori and Richard Schilke of Green Bay and Patricia Reedy of Denmark; a brother and sister-in-law, James and Genevieve Reedy of Lincoln Park, Michigan; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Mrs. Ann Hanson of Manitowoc, Mrs. Delores Gilbert of Clinton, Maryland, and Kathleen and Eugene Kaderabek of Seabrook, Maryland; his mother-in-law, Mrs. Mary Wanish of Manitowoc; two grandchildren, Jason and Kari Reedy, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Ralph.

Friends may call at Saur Funeral Home, Kellnersville, 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday until the time of services. Prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Friday evening by Father Feller and VFW memorial service at 8:30 p.m.
