Obit: Helen was the daughter of Amos Weeks and Cornelia A/Emeline Brown Kingsley. She was born at Castleton Corners, Vermont, August 22, 1852, and passed away at the home near Collins, MO, January 13, 1930, at the age of 77 years, 4 months and 21 days.

She went to Iowa with her parents as a child and spent most of her girlhood days at Chester, Iowa. She married Benjamin Henry Virgil in Fort Dodge, Webster Co, Iowa on 20 November 1871. They had eleven children: Clara Etta (Mrs James M Learmont) of Humboldt, Iowa, Milton Eugene of Ayrshire, Iowa, Florence Rogene (Mrs Ed McDonnel) of Sioux Falls, SD, Thomas Benjamin of Ayrshire, Iowa, Fannie Eliza (Mrs William A Learmont) of Rutland, Iowa , Prince Albert who died at the age of eight years, Nellie May (Mrs Ralph Requa) of Wichita, Kansas, Edna Bell (Strosnider) of Burlington, Colo, Ruth Jane (Mrs John Johnson) of Alva, Okla, Leon Franklin and Hazel Eldora (Mrs John Vahle) of Collins, Mo.

Besides the above named children, she is survived by a devoted husband, 17 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, two brothers, one sister, other relatives and a host of friends.

In 1898 the family moved to Blackwell, OK where they lived until the spring of 1908 when they moved to their present home near Collins.

She was converted in the year 1896 and baptized in the Christian Church, where her faith has always remained.

Funeral services were held at the home Thursday noon, Jan 16, 1930, by Rev W S Birdsong of Weaubleau; burial in Marshall cemetery.
