Cecil Joseph Harrison, 81 of Columbus, MS passed away Monday, May 07, 2018 at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle, Columbus, MS.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 10. 2018 from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM with Bro. James Gardner officiating. Interment will be in Living Faith Tabernacle Cemetery, Columbus, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Harrison was born March 30, 1937, to the late Jessie Lee Harrison, Sr. and Etta C. Stokes Harrison Herron in Liberty, Pickens County, AL. He was self-employed as a paint contractor and retired in 1999. Mr. Harrison was a member of Living Faith Tabernacle, Columbus, MS. When he was younger he enjoyed boxing as he got older he enjoyed traveling, hunting, and fishing. In addition to his parents, Mr. Harrison was preceded in death by his wife – Jessie Marie Brooks Harrison.
