Johnny Mac Herron, 68, of Ethelsville, AL went to his heavenly home July 25, 2022, at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, NC after a battle with pulmonary fibrosis.
Mr. Herron was born April 12, 1954, in Columbus, MS to the late Shields & E.C. Herron. He was an active member of the Tupelo Church of God.
He retired after 26 years of service with FedEx. He loved spending time camping, fishing, handyman work as well as spending time with his wife, his children, grandchildren, family, and great friends as well as his beloved 2 schnauzers.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by 4 sisters, Betty Harrell, Mary Nell Reeves, Linda Brooks, Shirley Baldwin, and 2 brothers, J.L. Harrison and Cecil Harrison.
Visitation for Mr. Herron will be Sunday, July 31, 2022, 6 pm to 8 pm at Lowndes Funeral Home in Columbus, MS. A visitation will be Monday, August 1, 2022 from 10 am to 11 am at Living Faith Tabernacle. The funeral service will follow at 11 am at Living Faith Tabernacle with Reverend Anthony Miller and Reverend Judd Vowell offic
