Martin Heffner Jr., 76, of Sinking Spring, passed away on Friday June 15, 2018, at his residence.
He is the beloved husband of Doris (Fisher)Heffner. Born in Oley Township, he is the son of the late Martin Heffner Sr. and the late Elsie Burk.
Martin was a proud member of the Advent Lutheran Church as well as the Masonic Lodge Huguenot number 377 in Kutztown.
He is survived by his sons, Dale Heffner, fiancé of Allison Jones; and Robert Heffner, husband of Michele. He is also survived by his stepdaughter, Michelle Y. Miller; brother, Roy Heffner, husband of Jean; five grandchildren: Candice R. Heffner, Malori Heffner, Lydia Heffner, Kirsten Miller, and Robert Miller; and two great-grandchildren, Peyton and Gavin.
Martin is predeceased by his daughter, Lori, in 1991; his stepson, Michael Miller; and his siblings: Mae, Ray, Mary, Ralph and Betty.
A memorial service will be held at the Advent Lutheran Church, 16 Telford Avenue, Reading, PA 19609 on Tuesday June 19, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Rachael Dietz and Reverend Corinne Dautrich will be officiating. Interment will be following the service at Pleasant View Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at the church on Tuesday.
