Va., Mrs. Vick Salyers Sims Hicks, Powhatan, Va. and Mrs. Myrtle Salyers Muncey Cookson, Dodd of Massillon, Ohio; one brother, Henry Ford Salyers, Castlewood, Va. and four grand children."

Sarah married George Thomas Salyer on 10-06-1911 and from this union, they had 11 children: Martha Lucinda, John William "JW", Bessie Frances, Bill Thomas, Charlie Dolphus, Ibbie Victoria, Myrtle Anne, Effa Mae, Henry Ford, Robert Nathan, and Margaret "Maggie."
Charlie and Ada Moore Salyers had two children: Charlie D. Salyers, Jr., who preceded his father in death, and Thomas H. Salyers, known as "Tom."
