She was born on December 30, 1925 in St. Augustine, FL to Louie and Eva Thomas. She was a member of Believers Tabernacle in Hilliard, FL and a loving Mama, Grandma, Great-Grandma and Great-Great-Grandma.
Willie Mae is survived by her children; Barbara (Jack) Lewis, Robert (Joyce) Rankin, Caroline (Elmo) Harris, Edward James Allen Jr. and Timothy Allen, 14 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; Louie and Eva Thomas, husband; Edward James Allen SR, 7 brothers; Louie, Arley, Cecil, Woodrow, Ira, Lowell and Ellsworth Thomas SR., 7 sisters; Vera Raulerson Suggs, Gladys Vanzant, Erma Thomas, Elmo Higdon, Violet McQuaig, Helen McQuaig and Lucile Fischer.
A viewing will be held on Saturday September 1, 2018 in the Nassau Funeral Home Chapel from 1-3:00 PM, service will begin at 3:00 PM with Bro. Glen Dyal officiating. Interment will follow in Brickyard Cemetery in Hilliard FL.
Pallbearers will be David Lewis, Greg Harris, Jamie Allen, Brandon Wilson, Chase Lewis, Zach Harris, Zane Harris and Jamie Braum. Honorary pallbearers will be Robbie Ramsey, Jesse Rankin, Ricky Ray Rankin, Bryce Wilson, Jeff Burkett, Robert Carver, Trey Wolfe and Bubba Joiner.
