Mrs. Blanche B. (Jacobs) Haskins, 70, wife of Perry Haskins, died this morning at her home after a long illness. Funeral services will he held Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Baptist Church. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call at Covey Funeral Home tomorrow and Wednesday evenings from 7 to 9. Born in Boyntonville, N.Y., July 9, 1892, she was the daughter of Henry and Effie (Holbritter) Jacobs. A resident of Wilmington since early childhood, she was educated in the Wilmington schools and served as a practical nurse until her marriage Feb. 2, 1922. Mrs. Haskins was a member of the Baptist Church, Victory Grange, Hime Demonstration Club and the American Legion Auxiliary. At the time of her death she was president of the Mothers Club and vice-president of the Ladies' Aid Society of the Baptist Church. In addition to her husband she is survived by two sons, Philip and William of Wilmington; five daughters, Mrs. Eugene Look of Wilmington, Mrs. .lean Bliven of Searsburg, Mrs. Charles Dessaint of Holyoke, Mass., Mrs. James Looke of Bangor, Me., and Mrs. Marion Crafts of Searsburg; four brothers, Gordon of Winchendon, Mass., Henry of Perkinsville and Gerald and Karl of Wilmington, and 23 grandchildren.
