"Gordon F. Hake, 83, Lancaster, died Monday, June 12, 2000, at Fairfield Medical Center. He was in the circulation department of the Columbus Dispatch for 47 years, where he was a member of the 25-year club.

He is survived by his wife, Lois Hake of Lancaster; daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Jim Geiger of Lancaster; their daughters, Lori Geiger of Columbus and Suzy Geiger (deceased); sister, Elaine (Paul) Moniaci of Berkley, Mich.; and brothers, George Hake of Columbus and Robert Hake of Fort Laramie.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gordon and Marguerite Hake; and brother, Gaylord Hake.

Private graveside services will be held at Forest Rose Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the Suzy Geiger Memorial Scholarship Fund. Arrangements are by the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home."
