Boyce Bohannon, age 92 of Marshall, Arkansas went to be with the Lord and his wife, Jackie, on Friday morning, October 5th, 2018 at Green Acres Assisted Living Lodge in Holiday Island, Arkansas. He was born in the Bear Creek Community of Searcy County, Arkansas on August 25th, 1926 to James Alvin "Jim" Bohannon and Kleopatra Horton Bohannon.

Boyce was a member of Canaan Missionary Baptist Church. He loved the Lord, his family, his friends, and his farm. He was well known in and around the Marshall community and had many friends including the employees of the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department where Boyce worked and retired from. He was a very hardworking man and enjoyed taking care of his cattle farm. He was also a member of the Welcome Home Volunteer Fire Department for many years. Boyce and Jackie loved to shine and display his antique automobiles.

Survivors include one daughter; one son and his wife; two grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; one sister; and many friends and extended family who will also mourn his passing.

Boyce is preceded in death by his parents; his precious wife and soulmate, Jackie Arlene Hall Bohannon who passed away one week ago, September 28th, 2018; and siblings G.H. Bohannon, John N. Bohannon, Jessie W. Bohannon, Dovie Halsted, Alva James Bohannon, Harvie Bohannon, Florene Cotton, Billie Loyce Bohannon, and James Cecil Bohannon.

Funeral services for Boyce will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, October 9th, 2018 at Roller-Coffman Funeral Home in Marshall, Arkansas with Bro. Shirl Williams officiating. Visitation will be 1:00 PM preceding the service. Burial at Bear Creek Cemetery will follow the service.
