* Alvie Wheeler Sharpe, Jr., age 92, of Fayetteville, TN passed away on October 16, 2018 at Donalson Care Center. He was born in Madison County, AL on June 19, 1926, son of the late Alvie Sharpe, Sr. and Pearlie Lee Holder Sharpe. He was retired from Motlow College where he worked as a maintenance engineer.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters: Fannie Mae Ellett, Rosie Hirlston, Frances Honey and Betty Norman as well as many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Sharpe is survived by his wife of 40 years, daughter, son, two step-sons, one granddaughter and great grandson.
Graveside services will be conducted on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in Lincoln Cemetery with Rev. Benny Berry officiating and Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home in charge.
