at his residence of an apparent heart
attack. He was 81.
The funeral was Saturday afternoon at
Gallant Funeral Home, with Revs. B. H.
Berry and Ray Plunkett officiating. Burial
was in Lincoln Cemetery.
Mr. Sharp was a native of Madison Co,
Ala., son of the late Jake C. and Mary
Moon Sharp.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Pearlie
Holder Sharp of Lincoln; five daughters,
Mrs. Fannie Mae Ellett and Mrs. Rosie
Hirlston, both of Hazel Green, Ala., Mrs.
Frances Honey, Mrs. Gracie Locker and
Mrs. Betty Norman, all of Fayetteville;
a son Alvie Sharp Jr. of Flintville; a
sister Mrs. Birdie Smith of Tullahoma;
a brother, Otis Sharp of New Market,
Ala.; 12 grandchildren, two step-grand-
children and eight great-grandchildren.
