Eagle Cricket Adkins, 80 of Pipestem, WV was born at Longbottom, WV, the son of the late Dewey and Beulah Adkins. Eagle was a retired truck driver for the coal industry. He attended Pipestem Southern Baptist Church and was a 50 year member of the Concord Lodge AF&AM. He was an avid gardener and enjoyed spending time with his family. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Dewey Adkins. Survivors include his loving wife of 59 years, Barbara Hogan Adkins; a daughter, Teresa Adkins Pettrey; a sister, Victoria Adkins; a grandson, and a great granddaughter.
