Victoria Mae Adkins Adkins, 87 of Narrows, VA went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 10, 2019. Mrs. Adkins was born on December 27, 1931 in Hinton, WV and was a daughter of the late Dewey Adkins and Beulah Adkins. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Monroe Adkins, Jr., one daughter, Nancy J. Thompson and one son-in-law, Dennis Moulder. Mrs. Adkins was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed the company of her family, especially spoiling her grandchildren. She also loved tending to her flowers in her yard and making quilts. She is survived by, two daughters, Diana Adkins Moulder of Narrows, Nina Adkins-Fisher (Bobby) of Narrows, four grandchildren, Steven Thompson, Tori Thompson, Eli Fisher, Eva Fisher and two great grandchildren, A.J. Thompson and Addison Thompson. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, November 16, 2019 at the First Baptist Church in Narrows at 3pm with the Rev. Jerry Sawyers and the Rev. Dr. Fred L. Austin officiating with burial following in the Peterstown Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church two hours before the service from 1 – 3pm.
