Elbert Tipton, 76, of Connelly Springs, passed away on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at his family's residence, following a period of declining health.
Elbert was born on November 15, 1941 in Yancey County to the late Brisco Tipton and Georgia Griffith Tipton.
He was retired from the furniture industry, where he worked in the rub room and packaging for many years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 2:30 P.M. at Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery in Connelly Springs, with Darrell Tipton officiating.
