Elaine S. Smith 1928 ~ 2005
Elaine S. Smith age 76, passed away July 26, 2005 in Murray Utah after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on October 7, 1928 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
The daughter of Jackson D. Slusher and Katie J. Kearn. She attended Murray High School and Graduated from Jordan High School.
She married Donald H. Smith on April 29, 1954 in Las Vegas Nevada. Elaine enjoyed her family and friends that have remained close to her though her life.
Always ready to share stories of her youth and praise for her loved ones. She loved working on ceramics, camping and her summer home in Panguitch.
Her wonderful sense of humor, that stayed with her to the end, will be missed. She is survived by Children Sharon (Doug) Wilson, Brian (Judy) Smith and Laurie (Robert) Allen. Her Brothers Jack and James Slusher, sister Betty Bagley, Ten grandchildren, Amanda, Jennifer, Andrenne, Chelsie, Shawn, Brooke, Brianne, Trent, Taylor and Nicole. One great grandchild, Madison.
Elaine is preceded in death by her Parents, Husband Don, siblings Kate and Lloyd Slusher.
The Family would like to thank Dr. Akerly at Huntsman Cancer Institute for giving us this last year with our mom. We would also like to thank moms beloved sister and best friend Betty who was with her to the end.
Funeral services will be 12:00 noon Saturday, July 30, 2005 at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 S. Highland Dr. where friends may call one hour prior to services.
Interment at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
