William Jackson Slusher 1919 ~ 2006 William Jackson Slusher passed away October 20, 2006 in Murray, Utah. He was born January 7, 1919 in Salt Lake City to Jackson D. Slusher and Katie Josephine Kearn. He married Doris Audrey Beck September 4, 1946. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple November 10, 1966. He served in the Utah National Guard and in the US Army - 640th Tank Destroyer Battalion. He is survived by his children, Kathleen Slusher, Merilyn Baldwin, Lee (Maureen) Slusher, Ron (Michelle) Slusher; siblings, Betty Bagley and Bob Slusher; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife; parents; sisters, Kathleen Mason and Elaine Smith; brother, Lloyed Slusher; half brothers, Lee Slusher and Allen Slusher; and his sister-in-law and special friend, Donna Slusher. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, October 24, 2006, 2:00 p.m. at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary Chapel one hour prior to services. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Applegate Hospice for their care and concern.
