Elmer D. De Grand, 75, 750 Bellevue St., died early Monday morning- March 9, l992 at a local hospital following a brief illness.

He was born March 13, 1916 in Sugarbush to the late Edward and Margaret (Pirlot) De Grand.
Elmer married the former Leona Puyleart on July 28, 1937 at St. Hubert Catholic Church in Sugar-bush. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Elmer was employed as a Master Electrician retiring from Eland Electric. He was a member of Electrician's Local #158 and the American Legion Luxemburg Post #262. Elmer was a member of St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife, Leona; three daughters and one son-in-law, Carol and Richard Roulette, Killeen, Texas; Judy Herfort, Green Bay; Mary Roberts, Killeen, Texas; seven grandchildren, Susan Manear; Steve and Terri Magee; Jeff Magee; Wendy Roberts; Todd and David Magee; seven great-grandchildren, Carole, David and Ricky, all Killeen, Texas; Blake, Chad, Eric and Stacie, all Green Bay; eight sisters and five brothers-in-law, Rose Heezen; Agnes and Wilburt Hazaert; Margaret and Emil Witek, all of Green Bay; Cecelia Zellner, Luxemburg; Sister Mary Eugene, Bay Settlement; Mary and Tony Drobeck, Little Suamico, LaVerne and Joe Kanugh, Manitowoc; Delores and Norman Peters, New Franken; nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Henry and Norman; one sister, Elizabeth VanDeHei.
Friends may call at the ProkoWall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m: today and prior to the funeral Wednesday. American Legion memorial service 6:30 tonight. Parish wake service 7 tonight. Funeral 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church with the Rev. Paul DuCharme officiating. Entombment in the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum.
