THOMAS M. GADZINSKI
(1919 - 1965)

Thomas M. Gadzinski Sr., 45, formerly of Manitowoc, died Sunday at Caraway Hospital, Birmingham, Ala., of a shotgun wound received Saturday, Jan. 2. Details were unavailable Monday.

Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and at 9 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic church, Manitowoc. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. John S. Landowski will officiate and burial will be in Knollwood Memorial Gardens, Town of Kossuth. Military rites will be conducted by Drews-Bleser Post No. 88.

Mr. Gadzinski was born Aug. 6, 1919, at Manitowoc, son of the late Thomas and Josephine Markowski Gadzinski. He worked at Manitowoc Shipbuilding Inc., and Mirro Aluminum co. until he left Manitowoc in 1959. He was a World War II veteran.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Larry (Joan) Grapentine of Milwaukee and Mrs. James (Nancy) Bialek of Manitowoc; three sons Sp-4 Richard with the U.S. Armed forces in Hawaii, Thomas Jr., and James of Manitowoc; seven brothers, Fred of Newton and Victor, Alois, Florian, Edwin, Leonard and Sylvester of Manitowoc; three sisters, Mrs. Harold Klein, Mrs. Roman Stelzer and Mrs. Norbert Herzog of Manitowoc and eight grandchildren. A daughter and a sister preceded him in death.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Tuesday where the Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.
