Marvin Koeppen Dies Thursday in Town of Meeme
Kiel, Wis. – (Special) – Marvin Winfred Koeppen, 18, son of Mr. and Mrs. Christian Koeppen, died Thursday at 11:40 p.m. at the farm home one and one-half miles north
of School Hill in the town of Meeme after an illness of t____ {illegible} weeks with pneumonia.
He was born on the farm, October 16, 1918, and was confirmed in the Zion Evangelical Lutheran church at Louis Corners April 5, 1931 by the Rev. Harold O. Grunwald. He
was graduated from the Woodl___ {illegible} district school in the town of Meeme June 1, 1932, and from the Kiel High school last June.
Survivors are his parents, two sisters, Olieta and Caroline, at home; and two brothers, Hube__ {illegible} and Elmer, at home. Funeral services will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the farm home and at 2 o'clock at the Zion church. The Rev. Mr. Grunwald will officiate and burial will be at the church cemetery. The body will be taken to the home Saturday afternoon.
