ALVINA KOEPPEN

Mrs. Alvina Koeppen, 77, a resident of the Town of Meeme, died Monday evening at Manitowoc Memorial Hospital where she had been a patient since being stricken with a heart attack at her home Sunday.

She was born Sept. 10, 1887, in the Town of Centerville, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Schmidt, and was married June 19, 1909, to Christian Koeppen of the Town of Meeme. The couple lived on the Koeppen homestead.

She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Louis Corners. The couple observed their 55th wedding anniversary in June, 1964. Mr. Koeppen died July 10, 1964.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Arno (Olieta) Wagner and Mrs. Allen (Caroline) Schwartz, both of rural Kiel; a son, Elmer, rural Kiel; seven grandchildren; one brother, August Schmidt, rural Cleveland, and a sister, Mrs. Louise Bramstaedt, Alpha, Minn. Two sons preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Zion Lutheran Church with the Rev. Adalbert Schultz, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at Meiselwitz Funeral Home, Kiel, from 3 p.m. Wednesday
to 11 a.m. Thursday and then at the church.
