DOROTHY A. KRAUSE

Dorothy A. Krause, age 86, of 690 Shoto Rd. in Shoto entered into eternal life Sunday July 16, 2017 at her residence.
Dorothy was born May 5, 1931 in Manitowoc to the late Joseph and Lillian Kolicek Holly and was a lifelong Shoto resident. She was a 1949 graduate of the Lincoln High School. Dorothy married William C. Wester June 24, 1950 and he preceded her in death in 1987. She later married Robert L. Krause July 22, 1995. Dorothy was employed as a lead finisher for several manufacturing companies. She was a former member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary. Dorothy was a lifetime member of the Manitowoc Co. Historical Society. She enjoyed theater and was an excellent seamstress.
She is survived by her husband Robert, two daughters and sons-in-law: Julie and Charles Rohrer, of Two Rivers, Kathryn and Michael King, of Mayer, AZ, one son and daughter-in-law: James W. Wester and Cheryl Gamble, of Whitelaw, 13 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and is further survived by her step-children: Mike and Dawn Krause, of IL, Christine Krause and her partner, Adrian Velasques, of Elm Grove, Linda and Russ Krawcyzk, of IL, Kami and Todd Cartwright, of MN eight step-grandchildren, one step-great-granddaughter, a step-daughter-in-law: Kim Silbersack, of Manitowoc, one brother: Eugene (Evelyn) Holly, of Shoto, a brother-in-law: Calvin Wester, of Manitowoc, two sisters-in-law: Violet Wester, of Manitowoc, Betty Holly, of AZ, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and her first husband, she was also preceded in death by two brothers: Paul and Donald Holly, one sister: Ellen (Hilary) Sconzert, two brothers-in-law: John "Jack" Wester, Robert Wester, and a step-son: Burt Silbersack.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 21, 2017 at the Lambert-Eckert Funeral Home in Mishicot with the Reverend Tom Reynebeau officiating, with burial to follow in the Knollwood Memorial Park Cemetery, Hwy. 310 Manitowoc. Relatives and friends may call after 9:00 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home, until the time of service at 11:00 a.m.
