I found Adolf's Passport of 20 Mar 1924 (returning to Belgium on 'Business'); in there he states that he originally emmigrated to the St. Nicholas Colony @ Winde, Maple Ridge Twp., Delta County, Michigan from the port of Antwerp, Belgium on 01 March 1913 and had resided there as a Farmer since; his wife (Sibella Leontina LaFault) emigrated sometime in 1924.

I think the business was to marry and return with her as their first child (Bennie) was born here before May of 1925.
