DAVENPORT Nell M. Bowen, 95, of Davenport, died Wednesday at Davenport Lutheran Homes. The body has been cremated. Inurnment will be at a later date. Nichols Chapel Hill Funeral Home, Muscatine, is in charge of arrangements.
She was employed as a licensed beautician. She operated Donna's Beauty Shop, Davenport.
Nell Davis married Darwin Vaughn in 1933. She married Joseph Bowen in 1973. She was a member of Reorganized Church of Latter Day Saints.
Survivors include daughters, Mary Williams, Horseshoe Bend, Ark., and Patricia Salsberry, Davenport; a son, Jack Thomas, Las Cruces, N.M.; 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
