Burial will follow in City Memorial Cemetery.
Born in Gaston County, she worked for Carlton Yarn Mill until retirement, and was a former member of Cherryville Church of God.
Survivors include one son, Rick Adams of Mountain City, Tenn.; one brother, Glenn Benfield of Cherryville; and three grandchildren.
