Georgia was their 7th child. They moved to Oakland City, IN where she attended elementary and high school, and graduated high school in 1944. After graduation she moved to Evansville and worked at the Thunderbolt factory building the P47 airplane used in WW11. She married James Price in 1949 and they raised their family in Glezen and worked at the rubber factory in Washington, IN. She graduated from Evansville School of Practical Nursing in 1967. She worked at Welborn Hospital in Evansville and Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Oakland City. She was a member of Eastern Star Chapter #391. A lifetime member of Petersburg V.F.W .Auxiliary and past member of the Petersburg Moose. She was a very faithful and dedicated member of Glezen General Baptist Church.
Georgia was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years James, daughter Lyndia and son in law Wrex Eversoll.
She is survived by daughter Connie Price (Terry) Barnett of Petersburg, a son Jeff (Mitzi) Price of Winslow, IN. Granddaughter's Terra Barnett (Phil) Knust, Kimberlea Eversoll, Christy Eversoll and Tim Walters and grandson's Tyler Price and Beau (Jill) Barnett; 7 great grandchildren. Nieces and nephew who were all her favorites along with several great great nieces and nephews. Her special friends Gale and Ed Wick who were very dear to her heart.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M (Pike County Time) Saturday May 30, 2020 with Bro. Eddie Willis will be officiating. Burial will take place in Montgomery Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. ( Pike County Time) until services on Saturday. Due to Covid-19 mandates from Gov. Holcomb and CDC social distancing is still in enforced a and face masks are strongly encouraged while in attendance at visitation and services. Also there limitation of attendance to all services and funerals.
