William Thomas, 49, of 311 W. Seneca St., died Thursday, Aug. 6, 1964, at Tompkins County Hospital after a short illness. He is survived by a brother, Leslie Thomas of Cayuta; seven sisters, Mrs. Helen Warren and Mrs. Barbara Congdon of Ithaca, Mrs. Beverly Chalk, Mrs. Rita Berlin and Mrs. Juanita George of Elmira, Mrs. Nancy Bennett of Corning and Mrs. Arlene Roy of Gillett, PA; several aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in Van Order Funeral Home. Burial will be in Hayts Cemetery. The Rev. Sheldon B. Stephenson of St. Paul's Methodist Church will officiate. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Saturday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
