Alice Marie Tenison, age 84 of Wayton, passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at the Newton County Nursing Home in Jasper.

The daughter of Bill and Lydia (Henderson) Snow was born September 2, 1935 in Wayton, AR.

She is preceded in death by her parents; 3 sisters, Oneda Shelton, Elene Phillips, and Hazel Hicks; and a brother Argus Snow.

Alice was a member of the Wayton United Baptist Church. She enjoyed cracking walnuts, quilting, and loved her grandbabies.

She is survived by her daughters, Janet (David) Clark of Low Gap, Debbie (Roland) Rogers of Lead Hill, and Annette (Terry) Brasel of Jasper; her son Kelly Tenison and his friend Gayla of Wayton; and their father Bob Tenison of Harrison; her grandchildren, Jason, Alicia, KeLeah, Sagan, LaToya, Ashlie, and Cristan; and 12 great-grandchildren.

The family is having a private graveside service Friday, August 7,2020 at 11:00 AM at Snow Cemetery in Wayton with Robert Boen officiating.

Pallbearers will be David Clark, Terry Brasel, Roland Rogers, Jason Willey, Ryan Martin, Brian Peoples, Matt Hugen, Brett Langdon, and Travis Crafton.

Honorary pallbearers are Alice's grandchildren, Jason, Alicia, KeLeah, Sagan, LaToya, Ashlie, and Cristan; and the staff of Newton County Nursing Home.

In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Snow Cemetery, HCR 31 Box 505, Deer, AR 72628.
