  HOLLADAY - Lillian Smith Boyce, age 81, passed away, October 9, 1984 peacefully during her sleep at her home.
  Born October 6, 1903 in Salt Lake City to George Carlos and Lillian Emery Smith. Married E. Veryl Boyce, June 2, 1925 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Member of the MIA General Board, MIA President in her stake. Held many teaching and leadership positions even to the last day of her life. Lillian was a greatly inspired leader, always doing things for those around her. A faithful and constant friend to many throughout her lifetime. She was a strong and valiant mother, a grandmother that her grandchildren depended on. A great-grandmother loved by the little ones. A stalwart against all odds. A brave and courageous person, and a dearly loved mother.
  Survived by three daughters, Mrs. Robert (Luana) Fennemore, Bountiful; Mrs. Bruce (Ruth) Bowdidge, Centerville; Mrs. Noal (Irene) Bolliger, Sandy; 16 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, brother and sisters, Carlos, Wilford, Ina, Mary, and Ralph. Preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Florence, Reed, and Eleanor.
  Funeral, Saturday 12 noon in the Holladay 1st Ward, 4568 Holladay Blvd. Friends may call at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State, Friday 6-8 p.m. and Saturday at the church one hour prior to services. Interment, Holladay Memorial Park.
