Frances L. Oehrke was born Aug. 2, 1898, in Jamestown, Mo., daughter of Frank and Catherine Miller Geminden. On Aug. 16, 1926, in Sedalia, she married August F. Oehrke, who died Feb. 16, 1972.

Frances died Sunday at Brooking Park Geriatric Center, aged 92 years. She is survived by a daughter, Darlene Thomas, two brothers, Frank and Clarence Geminden, and two sisters, Fredia Schmard and Erblean Bailey. - Sedalia Democrat - April 2, 1991 pg.4
