OKLAHOMA CITY — Mrs. Katherine Geminden, 91, died Saturday at an Oklahoma City hospital.
She was born January 26, 1878, at Jamestown (Missouri), a daughter of the late Christopher and Louise Nickles Miller. She was married to Frank P. Geminden, in November 1897 in Jamestown and in 1922, they moved to Sedalia (Missouri). Mr. Geminden preceded her in death Oct. 16, 1958.
The past two years she had been living in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lester McCoy, Oklahoma City.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Frances Oehrke, of Smithton; Mrs. Frieda Shumard, of Cincinnati, Ohio; Mrs. Erblean Bailey, Irving, Ill.; Mrs. Katherine McCoy, Oklahoma City; four sons, Earl Geminden, Tacoma, Wash.; Clarence Geminden, Carrie, Okla.; Frank Geminden, Cincinnati, and John Geminden, Granby, Colo.; 17 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, one son, one grandson, four sisters and one brother.
