Rosemary Francis Smith, 85, residing in Huron, passed away Tuesday morning, January 19, 2021 at Firelands Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.

Rosemary was born on June 2, 1935 in Sandusky, OH to the late Ralph and Loretta (Fisher) Smith.

Rosemary graduated from St. Mary's High School in 1953 and was a life-long member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. After 30 years of service at the former Providence Hospital, she retired as the head of the patient accounting department, which allowed her extra time to enjoy the company of her cherished family and friends.

She was a kind, loving and generous person, who will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, Rosemary is preceded in death by her sister, Margaret Keller, brother, Ralph Smith Jr. and life-long friend, Mary Ward.

Rosemary is survived by her nephews and nieces and their spouses; many great nieces and great nephews, their spouses, children and grandchildren.

A private family service will be held at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E Perkins Ave, Sandusky. Father Phil Feltman will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Sandusky.
