Robert (Buster) C. Arnestad 11/16/1928 - 1/6/2019 The youngest and last survivor of 8 siblings, Buster was afirecracker. He had a zest for life that he carried through to theend, which, together with his generous heart, was the greatest gift heleft to all who knew him. Buster is survived by the love of his lifeand wife of 68 years, Beverly L. (Von Rotz) Arnestad. Together theyloved and supported 5 children: Ed, Julie (Jim), Don (Julie), Dick(Barb), and Cheri (Noel), 14 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren, all deeply grieving Buster's death. Buster boxed in the Golden Gloves, owned a printing business, andthen worked in Tacoma as a longshoreman for nearly 40 years. Afterretiring he filled his time farming, restoring old cars, commercialfishing, and hunting. Always loyal, Buster hunted deer every Fall fromthe same mountains 75 years running. Card playing kitchen tables andLacamas Bingo Hall will miss Buster's big smile and infectious laugh. A viewing will be held Monday, January 14, at Fir Lane Memorial Parkin Spanaway from 2 7pm. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 15, at Fir Lane beginning at 1 pm, reception tofollow. We will be wearing flannel shirts in honor of Buster's love of the great outdoors.
