Rola R. Ludwig, 92 of New Holstein, died Tuesday morning, October 16, 2007 at Calumet Homestead Rehabilitation Center, New Holstein.
She was the former Rola Rehm born March 4, 1915 in New Holstein, daughter of the late John & Katherine Trost Rehm.
Rola attended New Holstein area schools.
On December 28, 1940 she married Gilbert F. Ludwig.
Gilbert preceded her in death on October 16, 2004.
Rola worked for the former Leverenz Shoe Factory in New Holstein for a number of years and retired from the New Holstein High School system after many years as a cook.
She was a member of St. John United Church of Christ, New Holstein.
Survivors include her children: Kathy Ludwig of Milwaukee, Kenneth (Jennifer Rueth) Ludwig, Milwaukee, two grandchildren, Kayte & Evan, one sister, Marielle Feile, Kiel and one sister-in-law, Lucille Woelfel, Fond du Lac.
She was preceded in death by four sisters, Elsie Warnke, Nelda Manz, Clara Kasten, Anne Quade and one brother, Gilbert Rehm.
Burial; in the New Holstein City Cemetery.
