Anita passed away Valley Vista Care Center in Wamego. She was the daughter of Jacob B. and Violet (Brackley) Ochs. She graduated from Great Bend High School in 1941. She married William Bernard Evans in Hoisington, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents. Survivors include her daughters, Sharlett Barr, Nancy Tobias, Penny Zeller, and Billy Anderson, her sister, Lenora Humphry, six grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at Yorgen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Chapel in Manhattan. Burial was in Westmoreland Cemetery.
