Peter I. Baechle, 75, of 1838 N. 21st St., died unexpectedly Monday night at St. Nicholas Hospital, where he had been taken earlier in the evening.
Born Sept. 25, 1906, at Eaton (Manitowoc County), he was a son of John and Rose Schroeder Baechle. The family moved to Manitowoc, where he attended grade and high schools. . Mr. Baechle then came to Sheboygan, where he graduated from the Sheboygan Business College.
On June 30, , 1941, he married Dorothy Mueller, also of Sheboygan, at Dubuque, Iowa.
Employed with Polar Ware Co. and with Badger Machine Co., Mr. Baechle then worked for 20 years at H. C. Prange Co. until retirement in 1972.
He is survived by his widow; a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Judy) Kuehlmann, of Sheboygan; a sister, Mrs. Ann Stodola, Rockford, III.; and a brother, Raymond Baechle, of Plymouth.
Six brothers and two sisters preceded in death.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Ballhorn Funeral Chapels. The Rev. John Theisen, pastor of St. Dominic Catholic Church, will officiate, and burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery.- Friends may call at the funeral chapel from 5 until 9 p.m. Wednesday and until time of services Thursday.
